Denby Dale Walkers are Welcome
We are a community group of local volunteers, formed in 2009 by local residents with the support of Denby Dale Parish Council.
We aim to promote walking in and around Denby Dale and are affiliated to the national Walkers are Welcome movement – see www.walkersarewelcome.org.uk .
We believe this is an area of beautiful countryside with a rich & fascinating heritage and an excellent network of footpaths – a huge potential asset to our area, not only to the well-being of residents but to many local businesses.
29 wonderful walk leaflets (including 10 new Train Walks) can be downloaded from our informative website – printed copies available from local libraries & supporting businesses.
