Documentary family photography

As a documentary photographer, my approach to family photography is to capture authentic moments that tell a story about the family and their relationships. I aim to go beyond the traditional posed portraits and capture each family member’s real emotions, interactions, and personalities.

I start by observing the family and getting to know them. I want to understand their dynamics, quirks, and unique qualities. This allows me to capture moments that are genuine and meaningful to them.

During the photo session, I encourage the family to interact with each other and do activities they enjoy. I suggest activities or games to bring

out their personalities and relationships. This allows me to capture naturalĀ and spontaneous moments that reflect who they are as a family.

After the photo session, I carefully select and edit the photos that best represent the family and their story. I aim to create a visual narrative that reflects the family’s unique qualities and relationships.

Overall, my approach to family photography is to capture authentic and meaningful moments that tell a story about the family and their relationships.
