You are invited to apply for your child to take part in our CHURCHES TOGETHER SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB for children aged 5-10 years.

As well as Christian teaching there will be a wide range of activities, craft work and games taking place at Denby Dale Methodist Church. This will include outdoor games in the church grounds and a ‘treasure trail’ to the woods up the road.
The holiday club will be run on three days, with different activities on each day. Children may come on all three days, but may choose to attend on only one day. Numbers are limited to a maximum of 40.
The day will start at 10 am and finish at 3 pm with a break for lunch. The children will need to bring a packed lunch and wear comfortable shoes and clothes that are okay to get messy – including occasional use of non-water based paints.
In previous years we have asked for a small donation of £3 per child per day towards the cost of materials. This year we are delighted to share that we have been awarded a grant of £1,000 by the Bishop’s Development Fund from the Anglican Diocese of Leeds. This means that we are not asking for donations towards the costs, and can offer a place for your child completely FREE of charge. If you would still like to make a donation, you are very welcome to do so when you bring your child to the holiday club.
Please be reassured that the leadership team are all fully DBS checked with their respective churches and safeguarding trained. This summer we are very aware that we need to be careful in regards to any possible COVID restrictions, and we will be following all and any guidance. We endeavour to provide a safe place for your child to enjoy the Holiday Club to the maximum!

What is Terrific Twelve?
Terrific Twelve is a Christian Summer Holiday Club written especially for the Denby Dale Churches Together. Just like some of our favourite super hero teams, the Disciples formed a team, formed friendships with each other and were united in their common foundation – being a friend of Jesus! They were also able to do some terrific things! This Summer 2021, we’re going to find out what make this super hero team of twelve friends just so terrific! As part of our adventure together, we will get messy, have fun, hear stories, play outside and make friends!
