About

FSB Pants event. Business networking that supports local people who need a bit of help.

We’re delighted to be once again supporting the Huddersfield Mission with a festive, in person, networking event. As well as being a fantastic opportunity to catch up and connect with people you may not have seen for a while, it’s also our opportunity to spread some festive joy by donating to people who really need it. We would love to see you.

It started off as an idea a few years to do something a bit different in December. Area Leader, Merewyn Sayers, approached the Mission and asked how we could best support them. They gave us the surprising answer that they would like new underwear. They get a lot of other items of clothing donated but obviously, you cannot give people second-hand underwear. So we all turn up with packets of new pants in hand (preferably in size small, multipacks are great).

We want this year will be the best Pants event ever – and it would be lovely to see as many people as possible there. If you want to bring a guest, they don’t have to be an FSB member. You just have to want to support the Mission and want to meet some great small business owners. After networking at the Glass Box we will have a social drink at the Hygge tent that pops up in town.

It is free, just remember to bring your pants and maybe a small donation for the Mission’s work.

Getting there
If you are travelling by car, there is on street parking only. The nearest train station is a five minute walk from the venue.

Refreshments
Tea and coffee will be available.
