About

This year’s Colour Run is bigger and better than ever – more entertainment, more colour, more fun!

Join us on 8th June for the most colourful fun run in Huddersfield! Great for all the family, our Colour Run is an easy 3km walk, jog or run while being showered in clouds of coloured powder. By the end of the race, you’ll look like you’ve danced through a rainbow!

Want to supersize it? There’s an optional 5km course that’s perfect for pushing yourself just that little bit harder. Whichever course you choose costs exactly the same and you don’t need to tell us which one you’re doing either.

Bring your friends and family to cheer you on – we’ve got food, refreshments, face painting and loads more entertainment for everyone to enjoy!

And don’t forget to get sponsored – every penny you raise will help us provide vital care and support to local families facing or living with the loss of their child. We’d love it if you could raise at least £25 each and we’ll send you everything you need to get fundraising as soon as you’ve bought your tickets.

Ready to get your colour on? Get your tickets now!

Thank you to Charlesworth Family Group (event sponsor) and Ministry of Colours (paint sponsor) for helping us to paint the park all the colours of the rainbow!

Things you need to know.

What does the ticket price include?

– Entry

– Colour Run t-shirt (sizing subject to availability – to be collected on the day)

– Your very own Forget Me Not medal!

What time should I arrive?

You can register from 11am onwards. The run starts from 1.30pm, so you need to make sure you are on-site, registered and ready to go before then.

Getting there

There is easy access from the M62 and other main routes. Please note there is no parking onsite, local street parking only. Please use public transport, share vehicles or arrange lifts where possible.

What should I wear?

Your Colour Run t-shirt will be available for you to collect on the day from our registration desks and there’ll be a private space for you to change into it if required.

Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting too messy (the coloured powder is washable but may take a few washes before it comes out and may stain pale colours – so we don’t want you to take any chances!).

We strongly advise wearing sunglasses or goggles while on the run to avoid the powder getting in your eyes.

And make sure you’re in appropriate footwear. The course is mainly grass and walkways, so there could be mud and potentially slippery terrain. It is suitable for adventurous buggies and wheelchairs too.

And don’t worry, any leftover coloured paint powder will wash off the park when it rains!
