Denby Dale District Lions Club is a registered Charity and is part of Lions Club International which comprises 48,000 Lions Clubs in 200 Countries around the world with around 1.4 million members. Our Club was formed in Denby Dale in 1979 and currently has 28 active members all of whom are volunteers.

We organize various fundraising events throughout the year including Santa and his sleigh touring local villages, Christmas Fair and Christmas Hampers, Beer Festival, Scarecrow Trail, Coconut Shy at Emley Show and School summer Fairs as well as Community Service activities. All proceeds go to good causes locally, nationally and internationally.
