Shelley Junior Parkrun is a free, timed 2km run for children aged 4 – 14 years.
Parents and older/younger children can also participate but official times and milestone awards are just for juniors in this age range.
We are a volunteer-run event and always welcome anyone willing to lend a hand, either on a regular or ‘as and when’ basis.
To get involved, visit www.parkrun.org.uk/register (for runners and volunteers) and then just turn up when you can!
We are on every Sunday and you’ll find us at the playing fields at Shelley College ready to begin the warm up at 9am.
Parkrun isn’t competitive – “it’s a run not a race” – and the emphasis is on enjoying being outdoors and having the freedom to run, jog, walk or even skip around our course.
