HLF is an award-winning 10-day Festival held every March at venues across Huddersfield.

This year’s line up includes:

  • Strictly pro and bestselling novelist Anton Du Beke
  • Booker Prize-winner Bernardine Evaristo
  • ‘Queen of Crime’ Val McDermid
  • Celebrated poet Lemn Sissay

Plus events around Jane Austen, Toni Morrison, Gentleman Jack, wellbeing, music, film, LGBTQ+ performers, Qawalli Night, workshops, poetry performance.

With many free and low-cost events, including family events (Zog, Moomins) and events with Stagetext live subtitling.
