The Huddersfield Giants Women In Business Lunch Event is a perfect time to come together, make some meaningful connections with other professional women, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
March’s event will include some amazing guest speakers, focusing on their accomplishments through life, business and how they manage each day with some key take outs, whilst accompanied by MC/comedian Peter Emmett.

Our Guest Speakers;
Claire Paxman of ‘Paxman Coolers Ltd’:
Claire is the Director of Sales & Training for Paxman Coolers Ltd. It is the leading global manufacturer and supplier of scalp cooling equipment, for the prevention of hair loss during chemotherapy, helping to relieve the visible trauma of cancer. Claire will be giving an introduction to Paxman Scalp Cooling, the reason behind how it all started and her involvement in the business and its growth.
Karen Smith of ‘Karen Smith Beauty’:
Karen is a local beauty therapist and business owner of ‘Karen Smith Beauty’ located in Holmfirth. Karen was recently nominated for ‘Business Working – Mum Award’ at the Women’s Business Awards Conference 2021. Karen will be sharing her journey on setting up her own beauty business and the pressures of doing so through the pandemic, looking back on what she has achieved and how she has got to where she is today, all whilst managing 3 young children, including some tips and tricks on how to market your business on social media.
Huddersfield Giants and Partners will be present at the event and they will be able to provide further information on business support, courses and funding and what’s available to grow your business and skill sets.
