Kirklees Youth Alliance is a local charity supporting youth organisations across Kirklees. We keep member organisations up to date with funding and training opportunities as well as development opportunities for the young people participating in members’ activities. We offer free DBS checks for volunteers of our member organisations and run a 6-weekly Youth Workers Forum. We also provide 1-1 advice and guidance to member youth organisations.
In terms of delivery, we run a Young Ambassadors Programme for 12-15 year olds and a targeted NCS (National Citizen Service) employability programme for 16/17 year olds with SEND.
